They just don’t make them like these anymore. This child’s old fashioned schoolhouse desk was so sturdy and cute. It did need some freshening up though. I chalk painted the top of the desk with AS Graphite and added a cute wooden chair that I had, after I painted the chair in Graphite as well. Turned out really cute. While I do not have small kids at home anymore I will pull this out for family parties for the kids play corner.
