I needed a small dresser for the back of my closet. I found this old solid wood dresser and painted it old white, annie sloan chalk paint. Perfect for what I wanted it for.
This white table was cute in white too but since I am changing color schemes in my home I wanted a red table. I love Annie Sloan Chalk paint in Emperor’s Silk. See the pictures of the painting process with no wax, then dark wax added which will mute the red into a beautiful rustic red.
This was a spur of the moment painting project today. I had bought these light wood benches for my back entrance area. Today I had a few minutes and a half can of Duck Egg Annie Sloan paint so I went for it. Used just one coat of paint and one coat clear wax. Added a bit of distress with sand paper and threw on a pillow to wrap it up. I like how it turned out. Looks a little more inviting with color, a pillow and a couple plants.

This entrance table was a goldish brown. Nice table but just needed a little life. The top was not painted just the bottom in duck egg and a mix of clear & dark wax. I will let color set in for a couple days and may add another coat of wax. I like how it turned out. That entry way needed some color.

Before- These 2 barstools I picked up at a garage sale. They were a little rough but very sturdy and were probably nice at one time.
1st Coat- Love Duck Egg.
After- And one coat of dark wax over the clear wax and it really warms it up and adds texture.
Turns out these bar stools are my fave! Love the rustic feel and left the wood top for texture. 2 coats Annie Sloan “Duck Egg”, one coat each of clear and dark wax. Have not found a home yet for them but they will be extra seats at our next party.
